The primary responsibility of this role is to drive operational efficiency, automation, and reliability of a framework designed to support the web development software lifecycle--from infrastructure provisioning to frontend and backend development, testing, deployment, security compliance, and observability. This role focuses on automation, managing infrastructure, monitoring systems, and incident response for the ADAS group.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Japan-based DevOps team and Japan- and US-based ADAS engineering teams to ensure streamlined development and reliable deployment of ADAS team web applications.

Responsibilities

Incident Response: Provide extended US coverage for SEV-1/SEV-2 incidents during US working hours.
Automation: Identify manual processes and implement automation
solutions to streamline workflows, reduce deployment times, and
eliminate repetitive tasks that could overwhelm the DevOps team during peak periods.
Infrastructure Management: Deploy and maintain cloud-based
infrastructure on AWS (S3, Aurora/Postgres, IAM, Route 53, WAF, Cloudfront) leveraging IaC practices (Terraform) for scalability and reliability.
Monitoring & Observability: Build and maintain monitoring systems to track application performance and infrastructure health. Ensure production observability meets the standards required for 99.5% uptime targets.
Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of software across ADAS environments.
Security Patch Deployment: Apply critical security patches and core module updates within 5 days of official release. Notify tenants within 24 hours of security advisories.
Documentation: Document processes, configurations, runbooks, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and maintain operational continuity.



Required (MUST)

3 years of professional DevOps / SRE experience.
CI/CD Pipelines: Proficiency in setting up, maintaining, and
troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Containerization: Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes,
including deployment, scaling, and management.
Cloud Providers: Hands-on experience with AWS (strongly preferred). Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS offerings, IAM, and networking within cloud environments.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform for
managing cloud infrastructure.

Design Engineer
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Design Engineer to help develop flexible interconnects and battery connection systems for electric vehicles and energy storage. You’ll work and own your designs from early concept through production with a focus on making products that actually work, scale, and survive in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and build the core components that move power and data through the battery pack, including interconnects, current collector assemblies, busbars, voltage sense harnesses, and flexible circuits.
Develop battery modules and pack layouts with a focus on manufacturability, serviceability, cooling, and system-level integration, making sure everything fits and functions inside the vehicle or enclosure.

Description of service

We are seeking a Contractor that will serve as a Resident Mechanical

Engineer providing on-site build support for our client's vehicle build partner facility in Livonia, Michigan.

The Contractor will act as the on-site engineering representative during prototype and low-volume vehicle builds, ensuring that integration, fit/finish validation, and rework activities are executed efficiently and documented accurately. The Contractor will collaborate closely with

You Will

· Be responsible to review, approve and manage all supplier industrialization activities including but not limited to program timelines, tooling, capital and fixture construction, tooling trials, assembly readiness,

· Develop, manage and ensure a robust implementation of the APQP -Advanced Product Quality Planning- process with suppliers from the initial design stage through PPAP submission and the start of mass production.

· Monitor supplier’s performance (quality yield, production output, etc.) and provide visibility to Lucid team to protect production

You Bring

· 5 years of experience in PCBA manufacturing roles in Supplier Quality, operations, Quality, or process Engineering.

· Hands-on Supplier Industrialization, APQP, PPAP and Program Management experience.

The Sr. Controls Engineer will play a lead role in advancing our client's goal of being a highly automated manufacturing company. ROLE

Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer
This position is open for either FTE or Contract
Contract (Contract-To-Hire): This position pays between $50.00 and $75.00 per hour.
Direct: This position pays between $115,000 and $185,000 annual salary.(Based on level)

Job Description:
• Mechanical Design Engineer at the Senior or Staff Engineer level for the New Product Introduction team (NPI).
• Work on linear motor design and participate in the development of new manufacturing techniques, tooling and equipment to deploy at production sites in North America.
• Focus on designing structures to withstand high forces while maintaining or improving functionality and system level performance.
• Design and develop components and subsystems with challenging technical requirements from initial concept through successful manufacturing launch.
• Develop new concepts and manage existing concepts through development, deployment, and manufacturing.
• At staff level, will lead projects with potential for direct reports.
• Lead and participate in brainstorming activities to develop novel ways to improve all aspects of the Linear Generator
• Develop and optimize key mechanical subsystems of the Linear Generator to drive down cost, improve performance, and deliver high reliability
• Work with Reliability and Test teams to validate systems and components with fast cycles of learning for deployment into the next generation of Linear Generators
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing engineering, NPI, and external suppliers to rapidly deploy new designs into production

Required:
• Solid understanding of metal castings, machining, welding/fabrication, bolted connections, datum selection, large tolerance stackup analysis, and finishing processes with the ability to identify and resolve design for manufacturability issues
• Fluent in SolidWorks or comparable CAD package. Experience with using PDM or a similar CAD version control system is preferred
• Interest in developing creative and cost-effective solutions to enable the deployment of zero carbon energy technology at large scale
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar engineering field from an accredited institution. Experience and degree will determine level, but minimum requirements are:
• Senior Level: BS 6 years or MS 5 years
• Staff Level: BS 11 years or MS 10 years
• Share examples of detailed structural FEA analysis of metal structures under extreme loads and fatigue (Portfolio for review preferred)

The Bay Area salary for this role is $118k-$185k base pre-IPO stock options benefits. This position is on-site in Menlo Park, CA. The salary will be adjusted based on the experience of the employee.
